Bill Allison - Department Director & University CTO

Bill is the creator of the Architecture, Platforms and Integration department, which was designed to provide a bridge between back office infrastructure services needed to run the University, and the Associate CIO's whose teams more directly interface with Berkeley's students, faculty and staff. He is very active in his support of API's managers and team members. Bill also serves as Berkeley's CTO.

Jon's team is responsible for vendor relationships, communications, change management, and on-going improvement projects for the services and software included in the campus Productivity suite including: Google G Suite, Microsoft O365, Box, and Adobe Creative Cloud. Jon’s team is also responsible for distributing additional site-wide campus software licenses through Software Central and is currently working with Public Affairs and other campus partners to establish and maintain the UC Berkeley Mobile app. (Download the official UC Berkeley mobile app for iOS or Android)

Adam Hochman - Manager and Enterprise Service lead

Adam Hochman is the Manager of Enterprise Integration Services and API Central. He is responsible for an incredible team that provides enterprise integration design, development, and architecture expertise to the campus in conjunction with defining, developing and executing EIS' strategic vision for technology.

Prior to taking up his position in the API department, Adam was the Assistant Director of Technology Development at UC Office of the President where he led the product development of a cross campus enterprise enrollment platform and system wide APIs for University of California and established the core technologies for UC's online learning initiative. In an earlier role, Adam led an international initiative comprised of 12 academic institutions to create an open source alternative for video capture, distribution, and management system called Opencast.

In Adam's off hours he plays in a band called Mrs Robinson and the Dadbeats, plays basketball, rides his bike, and hangs out his two daughters, wife, and three pets Romeo, Juliet, and Tybalt.

Marlita Kahn - Manager, Imagine Team

Marlita manages the Imagine Information, Document and Workflow Management service, which includes Imagine, the campus Hyland/Perceptive document management and automated workflow service, our DocuSign e-signature service, and technical ownership of the University's system status service. Marlita is also the functional and process owner for the OCIO IT Knowledge Management work and supports the Cloud Resource Center.

Kathleen manages the campus Web Platform Services team, responsible for the service we call Open Berkeley, as well as the Web Access team.

Eli (who reports in to the OCIO Chief Financial Officer with a dotted line report to the API Director) is the lead financial strategist who partners closely with all the managers and director in setting and meeting our financial goals to best serve the campus.
